JACK IN THE BOX is a non-profit association for the development and proving of innovative models of employment promotion.

The association is a party political independent community of interest of socially as well as culturally engaged citizens of Cologne (Germany) of different professions.

As part of its work JACK IN THE BOX offers a wide range of services beginning with the personal and professional guidance inclusive backing on the resource-oriented employment, promotion, training and qualifying of job applicants up to their support to find a job.

Closely linked to the development of models of employment promotion is the confrontation of the association with the complex of the “Modular Construction with Standard Containers”. “Modular Construction with Standard Containers”.

The box symbolizes our activity with the design orientated reconstruction and expansion of sea containers and their modular, mobile and temporary possibilities of use.

As a further main focus JACK IN THE BOX practices a wide range of cultural work having the sustainable developement of urban area and city regions in mind, in respect of which the organisation sees its entire manifoldly engagement.

In the establishment of additional charitable and sustainable service opportunities, we see a potentiality for the development of cooperative work- and cultural models.
